And make sure it's 100x100 as well. I like the neatness. You're now permitted to upload an avatar, so you can go ahead whenever you're ready.

Best
verse in the entire musical. And there are a lot of good verses in that
one... It's the one musical that I would not feel at all uncomfortable
performing for an audience of elves. _________________ 'Do you hear the people sing,
lost in the valley of the night?
It is the music of a people
who are climbing to the light.
For the wretched of the earth,
there is a flame that never dies.
Even the darkest night will end
and the sun will rise!' |

Have you read the book?
It's better than the musical, of course, but I think the musical
(unlike the LotR movies) stays with the spirit of the book very well. _________________ 'But

If you allow me, I'd like to come back to *Sondinóre as the Quenya translation of Dorthonion and to this last name as well, accordingly to what can be found in Parma Eldalamberon 17 :
- Dorthonion itself is no
pure Sindarin but is Sindarin Noldorized and was thus probably used as
such in Quenya. The real Sindarin name would have been Dor i Thuin (p. 81).
- If a "purer" quenya name was to be found, it is important to
keep in mind that the word for 'pine' comes from √THĂN, √THĀN ('kindle;
fire, light, set light to' - p. 187). Tolkien gives a Quenya derivative
: th-, sāne- (p. 81). At the least, should we not have *Sandinóre ? And I'm not sure about the di part of it ...

secret voice that gainsayeth, and a light where darkness was decreed."

I'll leave that to Aikanáro to sort out - I don't know any Quenya.
Question - does anyone have one of these phones? I have to get a new one when I get back to the States, and it looks really nifty. _________________ 'But

I don't expect to have much computer access over the weekend. There are still some RP posts that I can prepare on paper . _________________ Nai tengwestie nóle kalyuva kuilelya!

Welcome back from wherever you were this weekend, Varna! I see you online.
It's a lovely day today, but I feel rather wretched...it seems I always take ill the week before finals. _________________ 'But

I need to watch this thread - I'm afraid you're not online any more now when I finally read it
And this place was strangely quiet as well, after having such active first days _________________ Nai tengwestie nóle kalyuva kuilelya!

Varna (and Findarato), Quote: | You could ask Braeden whether she wants any of hers included. | Braeden would only suggest her current RP... The others seem to have fallen by the wayside.
But regarding HftGD, I might wait until the adventure is well underway before getting it linked here.
Glorfindel's Ward - love your sig! I fell in love with that verse when I first heard the musical. *hasn't seen it yet*
*needs to read the book too*

I
haven't seen it yet either. It played where I am a few years ago, but
tickets were expensive and sold out far in advance so I missed that
chance.
Mental images just aren't same... And reading the book while simultaneously listening to the soundtrack doesn't work either. _________________ 'Do you hear the people sing,
