Welcome to I Vinya Cuiveyulda Opelë, Dorthonion's very own Tea House!

Everyone is invited to drop in for a cup of tea (or coffee, or Milo...) and a chat, or just to take a look around our shiny new Inn. We just couldn't do without one!

The Opelë is traditionally the unofficial home of the Quenya Defenders, so Quenya is welcome here, as well as any other vercië (or sensible matters, if you must) that you care to discuss. Just keep it nice and friendly! Thanks and credit is also due to Elyrka Redsmith, owner of the original Tea House, and Varnafindë and Braeden Fireheart, its managers.

And what better way to open this new branch than with tea?

Just finished yet another Terry Pratchett book. Probably my favorite one yet. I should go fix some real tea soon and get something to eat as well.

Sorry that the title of our board is in Sindarin. Confused

If you tell me what it is in Quenya, I could put the underneath in smaller letters. Wink

Which book is it you've just finished?

You know, I was staring at that new title for ages, trying to see what it meant - but my knowledge of Sindarin is rather limited! Tell me what na is in English and I'll translate to Quenya.

I don't think Sindarin has a similar tense...if I'm wrong, someone correct me and I'll fix it. Smile

I like Terry Pratchett too. That's the...*counts* fifth of his books that I've read.

It's been a long day at the computer, mostly on Internet - and most sites have been annoyingly slow today. Not just Dorthonion.

And I like the Quenya version being used as subtitle for the board.

Really? My internet was very slow yesterday, but everything's going well today. Nice and fast. It looks like we've finally resolved to the DNS server, too - I haven't had any problem connecting today at all.

Good morning, all!

I had a nice surprise this morning - found out I finally managed to win a copy of The Two Towers EE from Ebay. After many attempts. Very Happy

I haven't had any connection problems at all, but the Internet has been slow for me the past few days. I'm inclined to blame that on the fact I've been working with more open windows than usual, though!

I have announced the affiliated branch in the MT main branch. I added enough chat first for it not to look like an advert in Active Topics. People who go to the post will then be asked to PM us or go to your profiles to find out more. I hope that will be an ok way of doing it. And I put the same in the First Post.

Woke up this morning to discover that I've sold four of my ebay items. Woot! This means that I have four less books to carry home with me. Hopefully more will sell in the next few hours!

I should start working on my paper today, but I just don't think I have the energy or the motivation.
