No, I'm saying a friendly forum, not as a synonym of quiet. The other Tolkien forum was becoming unfriendly because of one member, and now that he has been banned, the place is more friendly again. But to take up your point - a forum can be too quiet, where nothing happens at all for days on end, but it can also be too busy. With threads where I find ten to fifteen new pages every time I log on, I tend to stop posting very soon (it happens over at NarniaWeb).
