Yeah, I have looked at some of the board, and particularly looking at the RPs section made me want to resume participating in those.
Am I still 'in the group' ? I want to get Nerdanel and Angarato going again Smile

Should we also post on MT, now that it's settled down a bit and that WiKi has been banned and that Findarato posts again there ?

He hasn't been much on either board ...

If we go back to MT, then I suppose we ought to copy the latest Nolofinwë / Kurufinwë there. I haven't checked, but I seem to remember that we only posted them here.

And it's my turn to play Nolofinwë and answer ...

Can one get an Avatar around here? I've always wanted one! I know I can't use it in MT but there are some other forums I'd like to have one, thanks!

Sure!

As soon as you have reached 25 posts and have become a Peredhil, you are entitled to use an avatar.

This thread - http://www.dorthonion.net/athrabeth/viewtopic.php?t=3 - explains the rules.

You can pick your own picture, as long as it fits the requirements in the avatar FAQ. Then you are free to just edit your own profile to activate it.

I've made a page which offers Tolkien related avatars - I'm planning to make one specifically for this board, but it isn't ready yet. Those that I offer, don't all fit with the requirement for Athrabeth na Dorthonion, so you would have to check them out for that.

Pick only among those that are exactly 100x100 pixels.
Don't pick any avatar with text on it - the administrator doesn't like it.

Other than that, feel free to choose from this page:

I've got permission to offer them at other boards from the lady who made them. She says that no credit to her is required. They are mostly movie avatars anyway.

I have to say I hadn't thought of the fact I had to plan my trip to Ny before going, and spend much time with friends I won't see for a year afterwards.

So I guess I won't have time to RP until October, when I am there.

I'm actually going to suggest that we RP at that other place after all (now that it has become more of a friendly place again).
It's got a better PM system, and it's got a better system for saving threads, which I like doing.
We've got until October to decide, then - and perhaps you can do something about Elu's Muse as well, which would be great.
