This
RP will take place in Valinor, about a hundred years after the Flight
of the Noldor. Findaráto's son, Finamátirë, who has never met his
father, is coming of age in a world very different from that in which
his mother and father grew up. This RP will be a chance to examine the
affect of the Flight of the Noldor on the Elves who remained behind,
and on the culture of Valinor itself.
I will play Finamátirë.
Aikanáro is currently working on an original character, and more will
be welcome. The only character we may possibly need from N4 (other than
Amá) would be Indis, Arafinwë,, Earwen and Anairë. If the members of N4
don't want to play these, that's fine, although I really doubt that
much will be needed of them.
While this RP is not directly a part of N4 it will be closely related. The history of N4 is 'canon' for this RP as well.
So, any interest? _________________ 'But

Yay!
I'll be playing Alyatánë Calmiel, who will be Finamátirë's wife, though she doesn't know it yet. A little about her:
Alyatánë lives with her mother in Tirion. Her father and older siblings
went with Nolofinwë into exile, but Alya was too young at the time,
they knew she couldn't have survived the journey, and so she and her
mother stayed behind. She doesn't really remember much about that time,
except the darkness and the fear, and she doesn't talk about her family
much - in truth, she's ashamed that memory fails her, that she was too
young to remember them well and to miss them now that they aren't
around, and so she usually feels very uncomfortable when the subject is
raised.
Her mother, however, never really adjusted to life after having
parted with her husband and older children. She's a little fragile, a
little unpredictable at times, and Alya has had to be her strength. In
a way, Alya feels responsible for her mother's sorrow - if not for her,
the family would at least be together, no matter what hardships they
faced. Irrational as it is, she carries a certain guilt over this.
Alya comes from a family that has always aspired to higher social
status, and so she's very much at ease with the finer points of formal
etiquette, and has an air of confidence about her even when she's
feeling nervous- she's just rather good at hiding it. She can hold her
own in an argument, but she's not particularly opinionated, and so
she's usually content to let people say what they like, so long as it
doesn't affect her. _________________ 'Fair shall the end be, though long and hard shall be the road' ~ Fëanáro

I will gladly play Arafinwë _________________ "But
behold!" said he, "in the armour of Fate (as the Children of Earth name
it) there is ever a rift, and in the walls of Doom a breach, until the
full-making, which ye call the End. So it shall be while I endure, a
secret voice that gainsayeth, and a light where darkness was decreed."

Yay!
As soon as Aika gets her character figured out, we can get started, then. _________________ 'But
